A video filmed by a family in Queensland, Australia, shows a huge carpet python, approximately 5 meters long, slithering out of the house’s roof and gliding onto the branches of a tree.

The footage is spine-chilling, and many people even doubted its authenticity. As the video progresses, a woman exclaims, “Oh my God! This is wild.” Another person responds, “They’re strange, aren’t they?” At one point, a child starts crying as the enormous reptile turns its head toward the family.
The clip was shared on TikTok with the caption ‘Only in Australia will you see a 5-meter-long carpet snake in the neighborhood,’ and, of course, it quickly went viral.
